prairie Valley Pet Services

Prairie Valley Pet Services started out as the grooming business within the old pet store in Fort Qu'Appelle.  From there we grew in 2016 into our own salon located at 160 Broadway St W, backlane entrance.  Here we expanded adding grooming supplies, a Saskatchewan brand dog food Horizon, added a second groomer, and opened up our Pet First Aid course to the public.

Lindsay has been grooming professionally for 9 years, working professionally with animals for 12 years.  As a young adult she studied Social Work at the UofR before realizing she already had her dream job, working with animals.  Since then she became certified as a groomer, worked in the industry for several years before branching out on her own to open Prairie Valley Pet Services.

In her off time, Lindsay may be found running around with her two young children, at home reading a good book, or snuggling up to her Boston Terrier Gus or Boots the cat.

Krista joined Prairie Valley Pet Services in 2019, and has been a wonderful addition.  Krista started grooming professionally in 2007.  After 5 years of working in the food service industry as a pastry/line cook she decided that it was not what she wanted to do.  Krista has had a lifelong love of animals and grooming was a perfect fit.  She took 5 years off of grooming to stay at home with her two children, and started grooming again in September 2019.

On her off days Krista can be found spending time with her family, two cats and two dogs.

Gus the Office Manager

Gus the official office manager at Prairie Valley Pet Services has been here from the beginning.  He can be found wondering the salon, snuggled up on a bed, or Instagram where he poses for all our promotional features.  Gus is a 7 year old Boston Terrier who loves pats, pets, positive affirmations and adoration.

Boots the Cat

Boots the cat came into our lives in 2017.  He instantly became loved by all clients who look for him whenver he is napping out of sight.  He is a snuggly boy who cannot get enough love and attention, and loves all clients who walk through the door, 2 and 4 legged.
